Stranded Cotton
We use DMC unbleached 6-stranded 100% mercerized cotton as our base thread. It has a subtle sheen and is probably the most well known type of embroidery thread as it is so versatile. It can be used in most forms of embroidery and can be separated into any required thickness. Stranded Cotton comes in 8m skeins.
